Hello. Yes you can borrow the Bike! it's like a Air Guitar! You can just ride! No gas needed.

by dallfo  Oct 11, 2014

You couldn't have described it any more accurately. That makes two of us.

It's all the same. What you spend for air conditioning, we spend for heating.

by dallfo  Oct 11, 2014

I've enjoyed our conversation. Have a great weekend.

It's 45 right now, it'll drop to 41 tonight. It's cooler than normal for this time of year, but not that unusual. It dropped to 30 last night, so we had our first freeze of the season. This happens every October, usually it's the end of October, not the beginning of October. Historically in Denver Halloween is more guaranteed to snow than Christmas Day. It's supposed to be in the low 70's for the next few days before we drop back into the 60's. It's just Fall in the Rockies. Colorado is somewhat unique in it's weather patterns. We have 58 mountains above 14,000 ft. so they actually affect the jet stream when it slams up against those mountains.

It's 46 here right now. Too cold to bike, not cold enough to ski.

You got me curious, so I did a little research. Leadville is the highest incorporated city in the country, Alma which is just east of Leadville is higher, but it's a municipality, not a city and Breckenridge is even higher, but the subdivisions in Breckenridge that are higher are not lived in year-round, so they don't count. Is Atlanta still in a drought? If Atlanta's wondering where their moisture went, it came to Colorado. We are way above normal for both snow and rain in the last 2 years.

Maybe "Grumpy Cat" should work in WashingtonDC. As.... Secretary of State? Speaker ot the House? Vice President?
