Your RT 66 reminds me of a song " Get Your Kicks on RT 66" by Nat King Cole,who was one of my favorite singers (now I am telling my age) LOL Lets be buddies

At McDonalds in Lebanon MO there is a huge map on wall about rt 66 and areas it travels through. Kansas has only 28 or so miles of original route running through it. It runs from Fisca station at ks-mo state line a few blocks north of highway through Galena to Riverton to Baxter Springs and then across state line into Oklahoma. Have a happy new year.

Like that route 66 sign... very little of it is in Kansas but cross a lot of it on US-96 in western MO. Galena and Baxter Springs are only towns on rt 66 in Kansas that I am aware of.
