Driver169, You're just as high as the rest of em. Do you really think all these people know what the cause of the problem is. Every weekend I watch my neighbors run there blowers, trimmers etc at full throttle for an hour then at the end of the season I see none of them performing any sort of maintinance they just pile em up in the corner of the garage and expect it all to work fine next year. Small parts, lots of friction, high heat, low heat dissipation combined with plastic parts. It's called preventative maintinance and if you want more than 4-5 years of trouble free operation then you need to figure it out. It's to easy and lazy (typical american) to just say my "whatever" stopped working and then blame it on ethanol like these people are just because they saw this forum.
My 21 year old car runs just fine on E10 so does my lawn tractor, trimmer and tiller...because i take care of it. Have a nice day and good luck blaming everything else for your problems.
